1.Who we are
ThreatGaurd (“we”, “us”) is a cybersecurity company based in India. We decide how and why your personal data is used, which makes us the data fiduciary under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and the controller under the GDPR where it applies.
2.Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, work email, company, job title, phone number, country and message when you use our forms, email us or apply for a role.
- Technical information: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit and when, recorded in our website server logs.
- Engagement information: information shared during a client engagement is handled under our contract and confidentiality agreement. See Trust & Compliance.
3.How we use your information

- To meet our legal obligations.
We rely on your consent, on steps needed to enter into or perform a contract with you, and on other uses permitted by applicable law. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
4.Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business, such as website hosting and email, under confidentiality obligations; with professional advisers; and with authorities where the law requires it.
Some providers may process data outside your country. When that happens, we take the steps required by applicable law to keep it protected.
5.How long we keep it
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires. Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted when they are no longer needed. Engagement data is kept and deleted as agreed in our contract with you.
6.How we protect it
We use appropriate technical and organisational safeguards, including limited access and encryption where appropriate. No system is completely secure, but if a personal data breach affects you, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
