Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing
Expert-led testing to find what scanners cannot.
Managed Vulnerability Management
ThreatGaurd runs your vulnerability management programme for you: continuous discovery and scanning, expert triage, risk-based priorities and follow-up until each fix is verified, with clear reporting for your teams and leadership.
Why it matters
Tens of thousands of new vulnerabilities are published every year, and attackers can exploit the most serious ones within days. A point-in-time test shows where you stood on one day, not where you stand today.
Managed vulnerability management gives you continuous visibility and a steady rhythm of fixes, without hiring a dedicated team or running scanners yourself.
Scanners produce thousands of results, and teams struggle to separate real risk from noise.
Without clear owners and deadlines, critical issues can stay open for months.
New cloud assets, laptops and applications appear faster than they are added to scans.
How the service works
Every stage repeats on an agreed schedule, so new assets and new vulnerabilities are picked up quickly and nothing is forgotten.
What is included
The service covers the full lifecycle, from discovery to verified fix. Scope and schedules are agreed during onboarding.
An up-to-date view of what you need to protect.
Regular, authenticated scanning across your environment.
Analysts review results before they reach your teams.
Focus on what attackers are most likely to exploit.
Follow-up until each issue is closed.
Proof that fixes work, and progress over time.
In-house or managed?
Running vulnerability management well takes tools, time and specialist skills. The managed service takes that work off your teams.
| Topic | Running it in-house | With ThreatGaurd |
|---|---|---|
| Scanning | Your team configures, schedules and maintains the scanner. | We configure, schedule and tune scanning for you. |
| Triage | Raw results, often full of false positives and duplicates. | Findings validated and grouped by our analysts. |
| Prioritisation | Mostly by CVSS score alone. | By exploitation, exposure and business impact. |
| Follow-up | Tickets chased manually, overdue items easy to miss. | Owners, target dates and escalations tracked for you. |
| Reporting | Built by hand each month. | Regular reports for teams and leadership. |
Tooling is agreed during onboarding and can include scanners you already use.

VAPT is a point-in-time test where experts try to exploit weaknesses. Managed vulnerability management is an ongoing service that continuously finds, prioritises and tracks vulnerabilities until they are fixed. Many organisations use both: the managed service all year, and VAPT for deeper testing.
Tooling is agreed during onboarding. We can work with established vulnerability scanners, including ones you already own, and recommend options if you do not have one.
Internal and external infrastructure, servers and endpoints, cloud workloads, container images and, where agreed, web applications. Coverage is defined during onboarding and reviewed regularly.
Your teams apply patches and configuration changes, because they own your systems. We tell them what to fix first and how, track progress, escalate overdue items and verify each fix.
We look beyond the CVSS score: whether the vulnerability is being exploited in the wild, whether the asset is exposed to the internet and how critical it is to the business. Known exploited vulnerabilities are flagged first.
Schedules are agreed during onboarding. A common model is weekly or continuous scanning, monthly reporting and quarterly service reviews.
Onboarding usually takes a few weeks: agreeing scope and schedules, connecting to your environment and running a first baseline scan. Regular reporting starts after the baseline.
Cost depends mainly on the number and type of assets in scope and the reporting and review cadence. After the scoping call you receive a clear proposal for the service.
