Shared responsibility

Your provider secures the cloud. What you build in it is up to you.

Cloud providers protect their data centres and core platform. How your identities, data, networks and services are configured is your responsibility, and that is where many cloud incidents begin.

Handled by

Your cloud provider

  • Physical data centres and hardware
  • Global network and virtualisation layer
  • Security of the core platform services

Your responsibility

Your organisation

  • Identities, roles and access keys
  • Data storage, encryption and sharing
  • Network exposure and firewall rules
  • Workloads, containers and pipelines
  • Logging, monitoring and alerting

Our cloud security services focus on everything on your side of this line.

Why it matters

Cloud makes it easy to move fast. It also makes it easy to expose data.

A single setting can make storage public, give a role administrator rights or switch off logging. With many teams, accounts and services, these mistakes are easy to make and hard to spot.

Our cloud security services give you clear visibility of your risk, test what attackers could really do, and help your teams build security into the way they deliver.

  • Misconfigurations at scale

Accounts, services and settings change every week, often without a security review.

  • Identity is the new perimeter

Over-privileged roles, unused keys and missing MFA give attackers an easy way in.

  • Security that slows delivery

Manual reviews cannot keep up with automated pipelines and frequent releases.

Why ThreatGaurd

Cloud security that engineers trust and leaders understand.

  • Read-only by default

Posture and identity reviews use read-only access, so nothing changes in your cloud.

  • Provider-specific fixes

Recommendations written for AWS, Azure and Google Cloud, so engineers know exactly what to change.

  • Real risk, not alert noise

Findings are validated and prioritised by business impact, not just tool severity.

  • Your data stays protected

NDA before access, collected data handled securely and deleted after the engagement.

Supports compliance evidence for

  • ISO/IEC 27001
  • ISO/IEC 27017
  • SOC 2
  • PCI DSS
  • GDPR
  • India DPDP Act

Our reports support your compliance evidence. Certification and audit opinions are issued by your auditor or certification body.

FAQ

Questions leaders ask about our cloud security services

Can’t find your answer? Our team is happy to help.

Which cloud security service should we start with?

Most organisations start with a Cloud Security Posture Assessment, which gives a clear view of configuration risk across your accounts. From there, you can add identity, testing or DevSecOps services where the risk is highest.

Which cloud platforms do you cover?

Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud, including hybrid connections to your data centres and identity provider.

What access do you need to our cloud?

Posture, identity and multi-cloud reviews use read-only access through roles you create and can remove at any time. Active testing is agreed in advance and follows your cloud provider’s testing policy.

How is a posture assessment different from cloud penetration testing?

A posture assessment reviews configuration across your cloud estate using read-only access. Cloud penetration testing actively tests what an attacker could do with those weaknesses. Many organisations start with the posture assessment and follow it with testing.

Can you help with Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines?

Yes. Our Kubernetes, Containers and DevSecOps service covers clusters, container images, pipelines, infrastructure as code and secrets management.

Do your reports support ISO 27001, ISO 27017 and SOC 2?

Yes. Our reports are structured to support ISO 27001, ISO 27017 and SOC 2 evidence and customer security reviews. The final audit opinion always rests with your auditor.
